Biomechanial Assessment

Biomechanical Assessment | The Clare Podiatry Centre

The biomechanical assessment involves the Podiatrist looking at the way you walk from the head right down to your toes, generally focusing on the lower limb.

We also carry out weight bearing and non-weight bearing assessments. These are completely painless and will involve us moving your feet and sometimes legs through a range of movements to look at how your feet and legs are functioning in terms of movement.

If we are confident you will benefit from wearing orthotics then we will cast or scan your feet at the same time as your biomechanical assessment.
